Booking

Destination Österlen AB (hereinafter österlen.se) is responsible for the booking on this page. These supplementary travel conditions to SRF's conditions apply between österlen.se, Storgatan 25, 272 31 Simrishamn and you who, yourself or through another, enter into an agreement with the company as stated in the confirmation. The agreement applies to all types of products where österlen.se is the organiser unless otherwise stated.

If you book additional travel services for your trip or holiday via this/these link(s), you are NOT covered by the rights applicable to package travel under Directive (EU) 2015/2302. Therefore, our company, österlen.se will not be responsible for the proper fulfilment of these additional travel services. In case of problems please contact the relevant service provider.

However, if you book additional travel services via this link(s) within 24 hours of receiving confirmation of your booking from our company österlen.se, those travel services will form part of an interlinked travel arrangement. In such a case, österlen.se has, in accordance with EU law, a defence for the reimbursement of your payments to österlen.se for services not fulfilled as a result of österlen.se's insolvency. Please note that this does not include a refund if the service provider concerned becomes insolvent.

PRICES
The prices in the price list are quoted in Swedish kronor unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to make changes due to price and exchange rate changes beyond our control after this date.

WHEN DOES MY BOOKING BECOME BINDING?
The booking is valid for both österlen.se and you as soon as österlen.se has confirmed the booking and you have paid the agreed registration fee (or the full amount for the booking) within the agreed time.

WHAT, WHEN AND HOW SHOULD I PAY?
Both by phone and online, according to the terms and conditions at the time of booking, you only pay by swish and/or credit card. To protect and encrypt your credit card details as they pass through our system, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

Please note that in the case of special rates and offers, refunds are sometimes not possible. Please check the room and price details carefully before making your reservation.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE
In some cases, a voluntary cancellation cover can be taken out for the booking. Compensation is payable if you cannot reasonably go on your trip because you, your travelling companion or a close relative suffers an acute illness, accident or death.

Close relative means the insured person's spouse, child, grandchild, sibling, parent, grandparent, parent-in-law, person with whom the insured person lives in a marriage-like relationship or someone in your travelling companion in your booking. Acute illness means illness that you did not know, could not have known or should not have known would occur when you booked the trip. The event must be supported by a valid medical certificate.

There are some exceptions for when cancellation cover does not apply.

  • Cancellation cover cannot be taken out by groups of more than 9 people.
  • Cancellation cover can only be taken out at the time of booking.
  • Cancellations must be made no later than the day before the arrival date. In case of later cancellation, no refund will be given.
  • The cancellation cover is only valid together with a medical certificate and must be sent to us no later than five working days after cancellation. The medical certificate must be completed by a doctor affiliated with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and the certificate must be certified with the doctor's name, contact telephone number and stamp. The medical certificate must state: date of examination, examination results, diagnosis and that you cannot travel.
  • In the event of cancellation against cancellation insurance, the cancellation insurance is not refundable.

WHAT DO WE NOT REIMBURSE

  • Acute exacerbation of an existing disease/chronic condition.
  • Examination, treatment and/or hospitalisation that was planned before the trip was booked.
  • Planned operations and related diseases or medical conditions arising from them

CANCELLATION COSTS
When cancellation cover is not taken out or does not apply. When booking a combination of different product categories, the strictest cancellation and amendment rule always applies. If you want to review, change or cancel your booking, please follow the instructions provided in the confirmation email. Please note that you may be charged for cancellation in accordance with the hotel's cancellation policy and no-show policy! We recommend that you read the hotel's terms and conditions carefully before finalising your reservation.

PLEASE NOTE! For some events and for group bookings (over 9 people), special conditions for cancellation fees apply.

In case of cancellation or change, the following charges apply unless otherwise stated in your booking confirmation:

  • Cancellation and changes to hotels, hostels, guesthouses and bed breakfasts only For room bookings, such as hotel rooms, that are not part of a package, cancellation must be made no later than three days before arrival for a full refund, excluding any fees. Cancellations made later than three days before arrival will not be refunded.
  • Cancelling and changing a package, activity, event, ticket, gift card or transport

Not subject to cancellation or change, unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation (cancellation and change do not apply to certain offers or discounts)

PLEASE NOTE! Cancellations via the Call Centre must be made within our regular opening hours. Please note that your cancellation is not valid until you have received a written cancellation confirmation from österlen.se. If you are unable to attend at short notice and outside of office hours, you can contact the property directly for possible cancellation, and you must notify österlen.se the next working day. Refunds cannot be guaranteed if the cancellation is made directly to the hotel. Please note that some discounts and offers cannot be changed or cancelled. Refunds will not be given in case of a "no-show". Please refer to your booking confirmation received at the time of booking for more information about your reservation and your booking conditions.

Special conditions for events and group bookings (more than 9 people). When you want to cancel or change a group booking, the following applies unless otherwise specified in your booking information:

Cancellation of whole group or part of group

  • up to 35 days prior to arrival, the reservation can be cancelled without charge.
  • later than 35 days before arrival, 50 % of the last indicated booking value will be charged.
  • later than 21 days before arrival, 75% of the last indicated booking value will be charged.
  • later than 7 days prior to arrival, 100% of the last indicated booking value will be charged.
  • fees for cancellation protection, amendment, invoicing and cancellation fees are non-refundable.
  • If the trip cannot be used for reasons that are valid according to SRF's travel conditions, the entire booking amount will be refunded with a deduction for a cancellation fee of SEK 750 set by österlen.se.

AMENDMENT COSTS
SEK 150 per booking and event. Please note that changing the arrival or departure date is considered a cancellation.

CLAIMS
Any complaints must be made to the person responsible for the product, such as the hotel manager/golf course manager etc. or their representative as soon as possible. If you do not get the problems corrected, please contact österlen.se by phone +46 722 33 77 94 or e-mail [email protected]

You lose your right to claim if you do not notify the product supplier on site. If you leave the accommodation, golf course or event without the organiser having had reasonable time to solve the problem, you lose your right to compensation. Any claim for compensation must be received by österlen.se in writing no later than 30 days after the end of the trip.

Online shop

General
To shop at Destination Österlen AB you must be 18 years old or have parental consent. Items placed in the shopping basket are not reserved until you have completed the order and had it confirmed.

Minimum order value
The minimum order value is currently SEK 100.

Order
Once you have finalised your order, an order confirmation will be sent to your email address. The confirmation will contain all the details of the products, price, billing and delivery address. If any information in the order confirmation is incorrect, please contact us immediately by e-mail at [email protected].

Delivery
Our normal delivery times are 3-6 working days. Orders placed on the weekend will be dispatched on the following Monday at the earliest. All parcels are delivered by Postnord. Free shipping within Sweden when you shop for at least SEK 599, otherwise SEK 49 per order.

If your parcel is lost during delivery
We at Destination Österlen AB are not responsible if PostNord loses a parcel during delivery. In the unlikely event of this happening, we will refund 30% of the order value to the customer as compensation.

Uncollected parcels
Shipments that are returned to Destination Österlen AB unpaid are not the same as returns. We charge SEK 299 for unsolved packages.

Prices
All prices in the shop are in SEK and include 25% VAT. We reserve the right for price changes caused by price changes from suppliers, misprints in the price list or errors in price due to incorrect information and reserve the right to adjust the price.

Right of cancellation
When buying goods on the website, you as a customer have a 14-day right of cancellation that applies from the time you receive an item you ordered.

When exercising the right of cancellation

You should return the products to us immediately and at the latest within 14 days of the cancellation notice. You are responsible for return shipping (SEK 49) and for the delivery and condition of the products upon return. We will refund your item to the same account you specified when placing your order.

Right of cancellation of ticket purchase
The rules on cancellation in the Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59) do not apply to the purchase of event tickets. Once payment has been made, you are therefore bound by your purchase. However, you can cancel a booking until payment has been made.

Complaints and grievances
We always carry out a visual inspection of our products before they are dispatched. Should the product still be damaged when it arrives, we undertake to rectify the fault free of charge in accordance with current consumer protection legislation. You must always contact us for authorisation before returning a defective product. The complaint should be sent to [email protected] immediately after the defect is discovered.
In the event of a complaint, we follow the guidelines of the General Complaints Board.

Limitation of liability
We do not accept any liability for indirect damage that may arise from the product. Nor are we liable for delays or errors resulting from circumstances beyond the control of the company (Force Majeur). These circumstances may include, for example, labour disputes, fire, war, government decisions, reduced or no delivery from suppliers. Furthermore, no liability is assumed for any changes to products/product characteristics changed by the respective supplier and other factors beyond our control.
