Äppelgården in Maglehem is a fairy tale, located among the rolling hills of Österlen with Stenshuvud and the sea as a backdrop. Only traditional old apple varieties are grown here, carefully and organically - for the sake of good taste.
In one of the farm's old stone barns is the muster room where the farm's entire production is handled.
Pressing apples in the right way and at the right time and mixing different varieties to achieve the right balance of aroma, flavor, acidity and sweetness is a demanding craft. Traditional pasteurization gives the must a multi-year shelf life, without the use of preservatives or other additives.
Tastings in Easter and summer
Every weekend during summer + Easter we have tasting of our drinks here at the farm. We taste both our wines Maglehem n:o 4:14 and Maglehem n:o 4:15 and of course our calvados, Maglehem n:o 4:43 Eau de Vie de Pommes, as well as our apple schnapps, Maglehem n:o 4:40.
Focaccia from Leve Bageri in Malmö will be served with these drinks. In connection with the tasting, it is possible to buy our non-alcoholic must, Maglehem n:o 4 and other products from the farm.
