The Spinning Time exhibition presents the unique experimental works and processes of 14 artists, including the possibilities of raw wool in weaving, braiding, dyeing and sewing.
In September 2023, 14 artists from different parts of Sweden and Ukraine met here in Österlen to explore the material raw wool and be inspired by a number of selected sites.
The exhibition features works that reflect the site from both historical and contemporary perspectives. These are impressions and stories from the artists' encounter with Österlen Museum's textile treasure, Tommarp's Wool Spinning Mill, Gislöv's Forge Museum and the folk sheep in Östra Hoby.
Free admission. The exhibition runs until June 20.
