For the first time, we take a look at Drakamöllan's rich musical history and offer music and anecdotes about and by great profiles who have all had Drakamöllan as an important place in their lives. During the 1950s, the Nihlén couple gathered many exciting musicians and cultural figures around them. Not least Lillebror Söderlund who worked closely with Gun Nihlén. Evert Taube is often said to have been a guest at the farm during this era.
With Christer Mörner as owner, Drakamöllan was a second home for Ole Adolphson, who also settled on the Drakamöllan moors. Others who often visited the farm during Christer's time were Sven-Bertil Taube and Monica Zetterlund.
Over the past 20 years, Drakamöllan has become known for its Opera Festival, which has attracted many thousands of visitors to Drakamöllan's opera hill, which one of the first reviewers called the cow garden. The first opera was La Traviata and since then there have been 14 more. All directed by Guido Paevatalu and his opera company guidOpera. Niels Jörgen Riis, whom you will also meet during this concert, has participated in all productions.
Olle Adolphson's art of whispering is presented during this concert by Anders Anton Påhlsson. We will also meet the sisters Lina and Sofia Pyk. Their music draws much of its inspiration from the moors of Drakamöllan.
Participants: Josefine Andersson, Signe Asmussen, Guido Paevatalu, Niels Jörgen Riis, Anders Anton Pålsson and the Pyk sisters. Conductor Leif Greibe.
