Over the course of 10 days and a 70-mile ultra-distance race, a strong bond is forged between a professional runner and a shaggy mutt of a dog who is named Arthur. The film is based on a true story about the dog who follows the runner in a last-ditch effort to win the finest of long-distance races. The runner convinces his sponsors to back him and his team to win the Adventure Racing World Championship through the jungles of the Dominican Republic. The team pushes themselves to the limit as Arthur helps them understand what victory, loyalty and friendship really mean.
