Lilla Kvarnby is a neighboring village to the slightly larger Ö. Hoby just over three kilometers east of Borrby and three kilometers west of Skillinge.
In Kvarnby's old distillery there is a gallery, next door to the paradise of roses, Roskraft, a facility that attracts rose enthusiasts from far away. In the village there are a number of large farms, one of which is a large horse farm.
It is thus cycling distance to the larger towns that offer increased services. In Borrby there is a school and a shop. There are also bus connections from both of these places. On the way to Skillinge is the bed & breakfast facility Östangård and the ever-growing Österlen asparagus, which provides foodies with the spring vegetable directly from the orchards.
