Here you can eat incomparable pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven. With the best ingredients. Organic and locally produced as much as possible, of course. We have been making real pizza here for almost fifteen years. Long before there was a wood oven in every corner.
Here it's our way. Our ambition is not to be an ordinary restaurant. Waiters may not be standing at attention and food may take time...

For most people, pizza is fast food. That's not the case here. We make everything from scratch. We have taken care of and prepared most of the ingredients. We make our own dough with sourdough as a basis and the pizzas are baked by hand while the fire is maintained. Many ingredients are added afterwards.

So, relax, take it as it is - Friden is a wonderful place for those with an open mind and a peaceful heart...
In addition to a very wide range of beer and self-imported house wine, we serve our own apple juice from our apples that never left the farm. We also have our own apple brandy drink. A meal cooked over an open fire - what could be better? And to be able to eat where the road ends and the apple trees begin.

You will find us about 3 km outside Kivik. If you drive south towards Simrishamn, turn right towards Vitaby after Kivik. After a few hundred meters turn right at the four-way intersection. Up the hill and left at the Friden sign, just before Mellby Atelier.
We are at the end of the road. You should book a place and unfortunately, no dogs here.
