Where road 19 from Kristianstad divides into two, road nine towards Simrishamn and road 19 towards Ystad via Tomelilla, lies Brösarp. Brösarp's location on the southernmost foothills of Linderödsåsen has always been important and has given the village its character. The inn has been safely located in the village for 325 years and is constantly expanding. Gästis is a gathering point of several in the lively village with its many beautiful, well-kept gardens.
The level of service is high with a health centre, dentist, pharmacy, inn, spa, pizzeria, café, sports field, grocery store, butcher shop and other specialty shops, carpentry, art gallery, cultural centre, galleries, retirement home, F-6 school and petrol station. There is a wide range of associations in the village. Brösarps IF, with the beautifully situated sports ground Utsikten, is successful in football for both boys and girls and in the summer house village of Brunsvik is Andrarums IF, the mecca of Österlen orienteers.
