Borrby Biograf was certainly in operation in 1919, but advertisements have been found from 1917 under the name Borrby Biograf. It was also advertised in 1919 under the same name until the summer break, but changed its name in the fall to Biografbolaget Borrby. The building is one of the oldest preserved in Sweden that has been used exclusively for cinema operations and is still in operation.

In Borrby Biografförening we work to document the history of the cinema. It can be personal memories from cinema visits, films shown, cinema programs, photos, old tickets or anything else related to the cinema and its history.
