The artist Oliver Skifs, who comes from Österhaninge, made his first exhibition in Österlen in the summer of 2021 and at Easter 2022 his first exhibition in connection with the art round. Both exhibitions were a success and have received many praises from both visitors and the press so has now become a well-known recurring event.
As per tradition, he is back with us at Hylkegården where he is showing his fantastic works, paintings, sculptures and costumes in the straw loft.

Born in 1988, Oliver works with a variety of artistic expressions, ranging from costume design for theater and film to portrait paintings.
Through his interest in the Middle Ages, fantasy and "LARP", he has for many years designed and made masks and armor to order for customers all over the world. He is self-taught but has on several occasions held courses in his specialty area of leather craft, as well as in color theory and concept design at various art schools.
Oliver's other great interest, music, often inspires the motifs in his art, often in leather, which he is quite alone in doing.
However, you can see his fascination with different techniques where he works with acrylic, charcoal and different sculpting materials, often in combination with his leather motifs.
This gives a certain 3D effect and makes his paintings unique and exciting.
