Frörum is a small village just south of Fågeltofta on road 19. The village is located in Fågeltofta parish in Albo härad in the borderland between rice and forest, but still it is hilly farmland that dominates. Kronovall Castle is only a few kilometers east of Frörum and the surroundings around the castle offer interesting nature experiences with rich flora and fauna.
The nearest town with services such as a school is Onslunda, just over six kilometers to the southeast. Lövestad in Sjöbo municipality is less than a mile to the west and has a school, a whole range of shops, restaurants and elderly care. Tomelilla is only a few kilometers further.
Bus connections are good.
