Come spend a week with us in on of the most beautiful areas of Sweden – Österlen!
We promise you a yoga retreat filled with feel-good, creative morning Vinyasa, pranyama, meditation and journaling. Workshops where you’ll have the chance to deepen your practice and explore further. And as always at our retreats; healthy colourful food, a chance to make new friends from around the world!
This retreat is held at a beautiful, lovingly-run Farmhouse located on the countryside in Österlen, south east of Sweden – a region well-known for it’s magical light, which has inspired many artists throughout history. Our classes and workshops will be held in the stunning yoga shala, and sometimes in the huge barn with windows overlooking the fields.
In between our yoga sessions and workshops there’s plenty of time to rest, get a massage or enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi. Or if you’re more of an explorer and have a car, take a trip to the famous Börsarps Backar (hills) or the many beautiful beaches of Österlen.
This retreat is for you who love Vinyasa yoga, or similar dynamic yoga, and like to get challenged both physically and mentally on the mat. It’s for you who already have some experience – not for beginners. With that said there’ll be many different levels in the group and we’ll make sure everyone’s met where you’re at in your practice. We always offer a lot of variations of poses in our classes.
We start each day with a 2 hour Vinyasa practice, moving through the whole body. Each class has a different theme and focus and includes pranayama and meditation (meaning it’s not 2 hours of movement). In the afternoon we come together again for yin and restorative yoga or a workshop.
We love to prepare and eat healthy, wholesome and beautifully served food and the quality of the food at our retreat’s really important to us.
At Bäddar & Ängar we’ll have our private chef onsite creating beautiful, healthy vegetarian meals for us. You can expect colourful smoothie bowls, overnight oats, homemade granola, loads of toppings (roasted nuts, nut butters, superfoods and more!) and fresh fruit. Enjoy with freshly squeezed juice and herbal tea. The lunch’s light and refreshing, usually a soup or salad, to be enjoyed by the pool or on the veranda.
Dinners are abundant and flavourful fusion-dishes inspired by all our combined travels around the world.
