Last in the line of Simrishamn municipality's fishing villages, from south to north, is Vitemölla. Vitemölla and Kivik are popular summer resorts. The nearest larger town with services such as schools, retirement homes, shops, cafés, restaurants, etc. Kivik within easy walking distance along Tittut, the road at the water's edge.
Vitemölla beach hills and the long sandy beach up towards Haväng is a very popular walking route. The vast sandy areas and the Klammersbäck valley are a nature reserve with unique natural values, including areas of sandy steppe, large populations of sand lily and nesting skylark.
People can often be seen crouching along the beach, looking for amber among the seaweed. The seaside hotel in Vitemölla is also old and well-known. There are bus connections to the north, west and south from the bus stop on national road 11.
