Simris is a cosy village that is alive all year round. There is a mix of new and old, permanent and holiday homes. The streets are crooked and winding, and there are houses of different character, colour and shape. The village stretches mainly along the road between Simrishamn and Borrby.
There is a car dealership, commercial garden, gallery etc. A place for peace and quiet with city services and the sea within easy reach. A pedestrian and cycle path leads to Simrislund where there is a school and childcare. High east of Simris is a popular farm hotel, Sköllen. Simris now has its own electricity supply with its own electricity produced by solar panels just south of the village.
Simris is served by bus via Skillinge, Borrby and Hammenhög to Simrishamn. From Simrishamn station there is the Skåne Express, the express bus to Lund and towards Kristianstad. From the station in Simrishamn Pågatågen trains also run between Simrishamn and Malmö.
