About half a mile north-west of BrösarpJust north of the famous Norra Brösarps Backar is the small village of Norra Björstorp, which consists mainly of detached farms and small residential buildings. Many people go to Brösarp's Local Association in N Björstorp, which provides everything for construction etc.
Up here, in the borderland between agriculture and forestry, well-known glass artist Elna Jolom and her family have created a living glass hut. Artists, craftsmen and practitioners of liberal professions are common up here. The small, peaceful farms have also attracted interest from buyers from densely populated areas like Zealand and the Netherlands.
Norra Björstorp is in a scenic location. The cultural treasure Glimmebodagården is close by, as is Christinehof, the Alum Mill and Drakamöllan. Just over half a mile to the east is the long, exquisite beach between White mole and Yngsjö.
The nearest major town with schools and other services is Brösarp. Bus connections north and south are available at Maglehem and Brösarp. To the municipal centre Tomelilla it is just over two miles. Kristianstad Airport is less than four miles away.
