Frörum is a small village just south of Fågeltofta The village is located in Fågeltofta parish in Albo county in the borderland between rice and forest country, yet it is hilly agricultural land that dominates. Kronovall Castle is located only a few kilometres east of Frörum and the surroundings around the castle offer interesting nature experiences with rich flora and fauna.
The nearest town with services such as a school is Onslunda, just over six kilometres to the south-east. Lövestad in Sjöbo municipality is just under a kilometre to the west and here there is a school, a whole range of shops, restaurants and elderly care. It is only a couple of kilometres further to Tomelilla.
Bus connections are good.
