1. Kiviks Musteri

The family business has been in Kivik since 1888, when Henric Åkesson planted our first apple trees. They remain in the same place, with Hanö Bay on one side, Stenshuvud National Park on the other and their apple orchards on the third. With five generations of craft heritage, they still make must, cider and other goodies in the same spirit and with the same passion.

Stenshuvud is a national park located on the coast of south-eastern Sweden. The park is named after a large rock formation that resembles a face when viewed from the sea. The area is known for its dramatic coastline, with steep cliffs and ravines created by erosion from the sea and winds. There are also hiking trails, a sandy beach and a rich flora and fauna to discover.

4. Glimmingehus

The best preserved medieval castle in the Nordic region! Here you can join exciting tours and hear about the Danish knight Jens Holgersen Ulfstand who had Glimmingehus built starting on 2 May 1499. The castle is brought to life with guided tours, medieval days, jousting, ghost walks and much more!

6. Sandhammaren beach

Sandhammaren beach, which is considered one of Sweden's finest beaches due to its white and fine sand. The beach stretches along the south-eastern tip of Sweden and is surrounded by sand dunes and pine forest. The area invites you to swim and is welcoming all year round.

Here the sea marries fabulous nature. The beach from the charming summer village of Knäbäckshusen is steep, but the beach is Österlen's best and most beautiful morning beach with views down towards Simrishamn and up towards Stenshuvud's familiar silhouette.

9. Brösarp slopes

For many people, Brösarp's hills are the epitome of Österlen. Here the cowslips bloom and the steam train chugs through the rolling landscape. The views are marvellous, with miles of views over the Verkeån valley. The most famous hills are the southern and northern ones, but anyone who looks around soon realises that the hilly landscape surrounds the entire village in all directions.
