Martin Wierup is Professor Emeritus at SLU/Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and has previously held various senior positions in Sweden in the veterinary infection control and animal health field and been engaged for a variety of international expert assignments and also as a lecturer at the Gösta Werner Museum.
A native of Löderup in Österlen, he is committed to the history of the area and has documented the creation of the meditation site at Dag Hammarskjöld's Backåkra, - "A sacred place in protected meadows".
Martine Wierup will give a lecture at the museum on 6 August 2024 at 19:00.
