The definition of a coffee rehearsal is a social gathering where coffee is drunk and traditionally seven types of cakes are eaten.
Coffee parties have existed in various forms since the 18th century. In the 1930s, a beautiful lace tablecloth was important and the cakes were eaten in a certain order depending on the texture, sweetness and size of the pastry.
Kafferep in our own way means that we have made our interpretation of Grandma Majken's cake recipe. Grandma Majken belonged to the second generation at Gunnarshögs Gård.
If you want to eat something more substantial, you can order scones, which are available milk- and gluten-free. All cakes contain gluten and milk.
